John McCarthy to assist with execution of strategic growth plan

Board of Directors. John’s executive and operational experience is expected to be of great value to Wayside as they continue to execute their strategic growth plan.
Since joining Mainline in April 2009, McCarthy has worked on a multi-year plan to transform Mainline from a single vendor hardware reseller to a true technology integrator that understands a varied client environment. Under McCarthy’s leadership, Mainline now spans the technology stacks of industry leaders including IBM, Hewlett Packard, Dell EMC, Cisco, NetApp and many more, which has fueled the company’s growth. “I am excited to join the Board of Wayside Technology Group and contribute to the ongoing success of the organization,” said McCarthy.
Prior to his tenure at Mainline, McCarthy served in executive management positions with EMC, StorageApps, CNT, McDATA and Virtual Iron. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Nasuni Corporation, a member of the Operating Board for Stripes Group, and a member of the Board of Trustees for Providence College.
