The acquisition extends Mainline’s reach into the financial sector and New York metropolitan marketplace.

TALLAHASSEE, FL – March 20th, 2019
Mainline Information Systems, Inc., a leading national provider of IT solutions and services, today announced their acquisition of RTP Technology Corporation. The acquisition will propel annual revenue of the combined companies to almost $1B and expand Mainline’s footprint in the financial vertical and New York metropolitan area.

Mainline and RTP’s complementary offerings span the technology stacks of industry leaders including IBM, Hewlett Packard, Dell EMC, Cisco, and NetApp. Clients of both companies will gain broader access to manufacturers, an extended technical knowledge base and more abundant training opportunities. “The combined organization brings two experienced, trusted, and proven executive management teams together, along with a strong pool of talent that knows how to solve many of our industries most pressing IT initiatives,” shared Rick Kearney, Chairman and Founder of Mainline. “I am confident in our ability to leverage the strength of the combined teams and fully support this investment to help solidify our position as one of the most influential IT solution providers in North America.”

Under the executive direction of John McCarthy, Mainline’s President and CEO, Ron Robbins, Founder and Owner of RTP, will continue to lead the newly acquired company as its President. “The union of our companies will have an immediate impact, creating tremendous momentum with our customer base,” said Robbins. “Our wide breadth of solutions will enable us to both answer infrastructure needs and deliver hybrid cloud offerings faster, more efficiently, and in the most cost-effective manner possible.”

“Ron is a 30-year veteran of technology, a friend, and a respected peer. We have known one another, operated in the same space for many years, and the synergy of our two companies is undeniable,” said McCarthy. “As we were researching this opportunity, we were overwhelmed by the positive responses from our clients. That really solidified our decision to move forward.”

“Arrow is excited about Mainline’s acquisition of RTP, two of our strategic solution providers who together will better serve the North American market,” said Jesper Trolle, President of Arrow’s Enterprise Computing Solutions business for the Americas. “The combination of Mainline and RTP will enable them to deliver more robust solutions and specialized IT resources to meet the unique needs of the end customers they serve.”

Mainline and Mainline RTP will work together to integrate operational processes and systems, which is expected to be swift and seamless. In the coming weeks, Mainline will be meeting with customers and onboarding RTP employees to welcome them into the Mainline family.

“Mainline has been building strong, trust-based relationships with our clients for 30 years,” said Eric Mann, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Development for Mainline. “We found a perfect match in RTP. They have been delivering customer success for 26 years and, like Mainline, have manifested a culture that has resulted in extremely high employee tenure.”
