Chuck Desmond is a Consulting Systems Engineer for Mainline with over 30 years in the IT industry. His background includes extensive work with open systems and IBM zSystems, but for the past 13 years Chuck has been primarily focused on storage solutions including flash, cloud, disk, SAN, Tape, DR/BC, and virtualization. Chuck holds multiple technical certifications from IBM, Pure Storage and EMC.
A few of Chuck’s recent projects include a three-site business continuance disk solution for a major US bank, a design and implementation oversight of a high performance data base business solution, and the design, architecture and implementation oversight for a hospital EPIC storage solution.
In his free time, Chuck enjoys building, maintaining and drag racing his 1970 Chevelle SS Muscle car. He likes things that go fast!
